IR Receiver (Digital)

These IR Receivers are often used in conjunction with the IR Remote.  These are often found in TVs where remote controllers are used.

These devices work by detecting digital signals from IR Remotes using an IR-sensitive photodiode, internally processing and translating these signals and sending them back to a microcontroller.  

Simply upload IR communication code to a microcontroller, and then connect the IR Receiver to the microcontroller.  Point and activate your digital IR transmitter, like our IR Remote Controller, at the black circle on the IR Receiver. 

If you require a more omni-directional application, the metal casing is removable.  However, doing this may affect performance.
