These sensors are great for robot obstacle/object detection, navigation, localisation and measurement. These are fantastic for interactive experiences based on moving objects at varying distances.

These sensors work by outputting an voltage that correlates to a particular distance. The voltage-to-distance curve is available in the corresponding sensor datasheet.
Because the unit has a built-in male JST connector, we have included a pigtail JST connector (female socket + solder wires) with it. That way, you can simply plug it into your breadboard and tinker away!
