Shock and Vibration Sensor (KY-002)

These sensors are great for detecting vibrations and small impacts, and using vibrations to turn things on/off.

They work with a small spring that vibrates when sensing vibration. 

The module comes preassembled with three pins: 5V, Signal, and Ground. Plug these using jumper wires (we supply a pack of 120 here) into the respective pins on your board, and away you go!  

Applications for these include electronic harps, by tying the string tort and attaching the sensor to the string. 

Note: For sensing higher impacts, we recommend using our Knock Percussion Sensor (KY-031).
