The Uno RFID Kit V3 is a great all-rounder kit for new tinkerers and experienced Makers alike.  It contains an Uno R4 WiFi, an amazing board to prototyping smart and IoT products that need bluetooth and/or WiFi connectivity. 

For added functionality we suggest combining this with add-on modules, including our MP3 Player Add-on Module.

This kit is also used in conjunction with UTS Mechatronics Engineering and UTS Product Design courses.

***WARNING:  KEEP THE XC9044 DS3231 REAL TIME CLOCK OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

This kit included a XC9044 DS3231 Real Time Clock which contains a soldered button cell - this is a professional/trade only tool.  This component was added at cost to accommodate for a previously known RTC issue with the Uno R4 board's design.  However, Arduino have fixed this issue with a recent firmware update, and the XC9044 will be removed to enable Uno RFID Kit sales to public.

Button Cell Batteries are hazardous (new or used) and can cause severe or fatal injuries within 2 hours if swallowed or placed inside any part of the body.

By purchasing this product, you are aware that: 

  • The XC9044 DS3231 Real-Time Clock may not meet child safety testing requirements as it is not intended to be used by consumers or general public, but rather, is intended to be used in trades, professions or industries in conjunction with the limitations and restrictions listed above.
  • These restrictions are due to a change in Australian legislation in 2022 for button/coin cell batteries.
  • If you no longer require the XC9044 DS3231 Real-Time Clock, please dispose of this safely with battery and e-waste recycling.
